Speech Language Pathologist – Sacred Heart School, Sioux Lookout

Position type: 10‑month or 12‑month, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

1. Provide professional consultation services to Board staff regarding assessment and treatment of students and collaborate with school teams to develop individual programs for students with communication difficulties.
2. Assist teachers in developing skills and knowledge related to communication/speech‑language needs of students.
3. Provide therapy for students with mild to moderate articulation delays and language disorders.
4. Conduct speech and language screening and assessment and refer students with speech and/or language difficulties for therapy with the Speech Assistant.
