Position Summary

Long Term Occasional – Grade 2/3 – 1.0 Full‑Time Equivalent (FTE) teaching assignment located in Hyland Heights. Reporting to the Principal, the role provides continuous, high‑quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher, supporting student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction to students in grades 2 and 3.
• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community partners.
• Provide regular feedback and reporting on student progress.

Qualifications
