Primary Purpose
The Academic Coach will support the University’s strategic plan by providing success coaching to help undergraduate students achieve their academic, personal, and career goals. Provide ongoing one‑on‑one coaching for students identified as academically at‑risk of attrition as well as monitoring these students’ academic progress and their interaction with other campus resources. Academic coaches will need to have a general understanding of degree requirements to assist students with progress toward graduation. The Academic Coach position reports to the Associate Dean, College of the Pacific, or designee.
Essential Functions
Independently coordinate and deliver academic coaching to undergraduate students. Tasks include:
