Accountant. TRS Staffing is partnering with a well‑established organization in the North American steel market to recruit an Accountant to support multiple operations across Western Canada. This is a permanent, full‑time role based in Regina or Saskatoon, SK.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full‑cycle accounting activities including AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and general ledger across multiple legal entities
- Prepare monthly financial statements, forecasts, and budgets
- Review Canadian and U.S. bank reconciliations
- Ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition
- Report key financial metrics and reconcile discrepancies
- Complete provincial and federal tax filings
- Support year‑end audits and financial reporting
- Identify and resolve issues efficiently while meeting tight deadlines
