Our client, a national law firm is seeking an experienced accounting manager to lead the firm’s core accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead AP, AR, GL, and Trust Accounting functions
- Oversee monthly accounting close processes and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with Law Society of Ontario, Law Society of Alberta, and Law Society of British Columbia trust accounting requirements
- Manage quarterly financial reporting and support annual financial statements and audits
- Oversee billing, collections, and AR performance improvements
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 10 accounting staff
- Improve systems, workflows, and internal controls across the accounting function
