Join Lighthouse Energy Group as a part-time Accounting Technician in Calgary and support our accounting team. This role is perfect for candidates with AP/AR experience in the oil and gas sector.
As a technician, you will handle accounts payable and receivable while managing invoicing and collections. We seek detail-oriented individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, particularly those familiar with Sage, OpenInvoice, or Jobutrax. This position requires 16–24 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions • Manage invoicing and collection activities • Work with Sage, OpenInvoice, and Jobutrax systems • Support the accounting team with day-to-day tasks
Requirements: • Background in accounting or bookkeeping, oil & gas preferred • Detail-oriented approach to assignments • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
