Job Description

Adjudicators – Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia

The Department of Justice is seeking applications from practicing members with a minimum of seven years at the Bar and in good standing with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society. Applications will be accepted from across the province.

Applicants must:

  • Be a practicing member in good standing with the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.
  • Have at least seven years at the Bar.
  • Demonstrate an interest in civil litigation; and
  • Demonstrate an interest in alternate dispute resolution methods

Possessing strong decision-making skills and decision-writing abilities will be considered a strong asset.
