Adjunct Faculty

Faculty members facilitate students’ achievement ofcourse objectives and prepare students to master skill sets that enable
progression throughout the nursing program of study. Faculty members work
closely with the course, clinical, and program coordinators to ensure the
standards and quality of the nursing curricula are met and maintained.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and teach courses assigned.

Adhere to class and clinical schedules.

Develop and maintain syllabi, lesson plans, calendars, etc. for each course
taught.

Communicate any concerns or issues to the course, clinical, and/or
program coordinator including school director.

Follow policies and procedures of the clinical site, the University, the
College of Nursing and Health Professions, and the School of Professional
Nursing Practice.

Submit course specific documentation as schedule.
