Overview
The apprentice mechanic reports to the Chief Mechanic to perform aircraft and equipment maintenance tasks as requested.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to Execaire's safety policy.
- Assist designated engineers, upon request, with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks.
- Assist the reserve crew with maintenance tasks for transient aircraft.
- Maintain all hangar equipment and provide maintenance details to ensure the hangar equipment log is kept up to date.
- Refuel company vehicles daily.
- Assist with hangar cleanliness as requested.
- Perform work under the supervision of an authorized TEA on behalf of the maintenance manager.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Secondary V.
- Aircraft Maintenance Technician course from a Transport Canada–approved institution.
