Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the company’s Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS).
- Focus on funds with a regional focus in Latin America and the Caribbean, supporting investment teams to execute the company’s approach to E&S risk management throughout the investment cycle.
- Execute E&S screening of prospective investments against the funds’ E&S eligibility criteria.
- Plan and perform in-depth E&S due diligence, focusing on E&S management policies, practices and capacities at investee level.
- Negotiate value-adding E&S action plans with investees.
- Write E&S memoranda to support investment proposals and advise investment decision makers.
- Monitor and report on the ongoing E&S performance of individual investees and overall fund portfolios.
