Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) – a 273-bed tertiary referral centre serving approximately 250,000 residents in the Thompson–Cariboo–Shuswap Health Service Area. The new Phil and Jennifer Gaglardi Tower opened in summer 2022 and houses a full suite of surgical and medical services.
Position Summary
Royal Inland Hospital is seeking experienced Anaesthesiologists to expand the Department of Anaesthesiology. The role includes general, orthopedic, neurosurgical, vascular, obstetric, ENT, plastic, and urologic anesthesia, as well as management of multiple trauma cases across pediatric and adult populations.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a broad surgical program.
- Manage trauma cases for both children and adults.
- Work a 15‑hour weekday roster with 12‑hour weekend call (approximately one weekend per month).
