Assembly Operator

Description:

Rotates amongst the various operations within the cell, to perform all assembly functions required to assemble the seat belt (or component of) while ensuring the daily principles of safety, quality, delivery and productivity are followed at all times to produce high quality parts; Bring any quality, safety, or productivity issues to the attention of the Team Lead; Perform all assembly tasks within defined time to meet production goals; Maintain 5S within designated work area; Visual Inspection of pats to ensure they meet established standards; Perform repetitive motions while standing for up to 8 hours daily.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirement of a High School Diploma or Equivalent; Previous assembly experience in a Manufacturing Environment preferred; Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs; Constant periods of prolonged standing; Constant repetitive movements using the same muscle groups; This position requires a 2-shift rotatio...
