Additional Information About the Role
The Answer Line provides after-hours exchange and nurse triage services for about 250 subscribing community pediatricians in St. Louis and surrounding areas. The exchange is a 365/24/7 operation that handles incoming calls from patients (parents), physicians, labs, hospitals, pharmacies, etc. Exchange staff utilize subscribing physician preferences to route calls appropriately. The exchange provides additional services for St. Louis Children’s Hospital including management of admit and discharge notifications.
