Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream–Media Industry Studies Department of Arts, Culture & Media, University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) 
Job Overview This two-year full-time contractually limited term appointment (CLTA) focuses on media industries and the relationship between media industries and institutions. The appointment is at the rank of Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream and begins on 1 August 2026. 
Responsibilities Design, develop, and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in media industry studies, including lecture preparation, curriculum development, and creation of online materials. 
Implement an evidence-based, global, comparative, and critical approach to the political-economy, industrial, and technological dimensions of media production, distribution, and labour beyond North America.
