Job Description
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate from an ARC -PA-accredited PA program, accredited NP program, or MD/DO program. Master’s degree in PA studies or other discipline. Current NCCPA certification or discipline-specific national certification, state licensure in California (or state license eligibility). Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as a PA, NP, or MD/DO.
Preferred Qualifications
DMSc, PhD, DHSc, MD/DO or equivalent preferred. Proficiency in Medical Spanish. Proficiency in POCUS. Experience with advanced technical procedures (e.g. intubation, lumbar puncture, central lines, para and thoracentesis). Academic experience in Physician Assistant Education. Sincere desire for personal growth and development as an educator, including teaching, scholarship, and service throughout the course of your career.
