Job Description
Applications are invited for appointment as Associate Professor on Tenure Terms/Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Language and Healthcare Communications in the School of English (Ref. 535033), to commence on January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment of Tenure-Track Assistant Professor will be made on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure before the expiry of a second three-year fixed-term contract.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline, a proven track record, and be prepared to teach and supervise at the B.A., M.A., M.Phil. and Ph.D. levels. The appointee is expected to help the School of English advance innovative teaching and impactful scholarship in language and healthcare communications.
