Job Description

Summary The Senior Counsel Expert is responsible for advising Members of the National Labor Relations Board on the adjudication of cases arising under the National Labor Relations Act. The incumbent serves as an expert legal counsel on a Board Member's staff and normally reports through the Deputy Chief Counsel to the Board Member. Responsibilities As an Attorney Adviser (Labor) (Senior Counsel-Expert to Board Member), GS-0905-15, your typical work assignments may include: Planning and conducting special studies as assigned by the Board Member, the Chief Counsel, or the Deputy Chief Counsel on difficult and novel questions of law, policy, and procedure which arise in the administration of the Act and formulates recommendations thereon for consideration by the Board Member and/or the full Board.
