Job Summary:
Work with the ATS Systems Design team to develop, design, and execute automated equipment by collaborating with multiple engineering disciplines to develop automation concepts. Take responsibility for equipment requirements and testing to meet customers’ process needs for automated systems or prototypes.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in quote preparation and ensure the automated system concept meets process requirements.Lead or assist in defining and refining process and equipment requirements and specifications, and development of automation concepts.Support systems engineering analysis and design of all aspects of a machine, such as but not limited to system accuracy, cycle-time, vibration, thermal, metrology/instrumentation, kinematics.Create and document specifications such as: machine design and process requirements specifications, and test plans for proc...
