About This Role
Our backend team owns the APIs, queues, and data pipelines that underpin TekValley's platform. You will design and ship reliable PHP/Laravel services, collaborate with frontend engineers on API contracts, and help the team maintain high availability across production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build RESTful and GraphQL APIs in PHP/Laravel
- Write database migrations and optimise MySQL query performance
- Implement background job queues (Laravel Horizon / Redis)
- Build and maintain third-party API integrations (Meta, Google, HubSpot)
- Write thorough unit and integration tests
- Participate in architecture reviews and on-call rotations
- Document services and maintain internal runbooks
