Overview
Empire Life is looking to hire a Disability Claim Specialist (Complex Claims & COD) to join our Group Operations team. This senior subject matter expert will proactively and strategically manage complex long‑term disability (LTD) claims with a robust focus on cases undergoing a Change of Definition (COD) from own occupation to any occupation. The role is critical in mitigating financial and legal risk, driving service excellence, and enhancing the overall capabilities of the disability claims team.
Location: Remote, or if local to an office, hybrid - Kingston, Toronto, or Montreal.
Compensation: The TTC range is $78,698 – $125,350 for permanent roles. Base salary will be determined by experience and internal equity.
