Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Management

  • Maintain general ledgers and record all financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and investment accounts
  • Maintain organized and confidential financial records
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Process vendor payments and reimbursements
  • Manage bill payments and electronic transfers
  • Track receivables and intercompany balances
  • Payroll & Compliance

  • Process payroll 
  • Familiarity with tax filings - prepare & remit payroll deductions to CRA (T1’s and T2’s)
  • Assist with HST filings and year-end reporting
  • Reporting

  • Prepare monthly financial statements
  • Monitor cash flow and support budgeting processes
  • Provide financial information to external accountants and advisors
  • Other duties as assigned
