Job Description
Brain Injury Rehabilitation Worker – Edmonton, AB
Schedule: 7am-3pm Monday to Friday, alternating weekends.
Starting wage: $20.55 per hour.
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Assist consumers living with a disability to gain greater autonomy in areas such as activities of daily living, cognitive and problem‑solving skills
- Provide personal care when required
- Provide service under the guidelines of an Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP)
- Support with community orientation and integration
- Provide suicide and crisis intervention
- Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
- Reporting responsibilities such as notes to file, incident reports, data collection, IRP progress reports
