Bylaw Enforcement Officer – Municipal Enforcement

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular enforcement patrols of all parking areas, focusing on paid parking and controlled residential parking zones.
• Use the electronic ticketing system to issue tickets and support charges with photo evidence.
• Accurately enter data and maintain detailed records of enforcement activities.
• Engage visitors and residents with professionalism, confidence and sound judgment, especially in emotionally charged situations.
• Respond to calls for service related to Bylaw complaints and work closely with other members of the Municipal Enforcement team to resolve complaints.
• Collaborate with other town departments to gather evidence and information as required.
• Perform administrative functions such as reviewing, verifying, and approving Residential Parking Permits.
