As Bylaw Supervisor reporting to the Community Safety Manager, you'll supervise staff, guide bylaw compliance, and represent the city in legal proceedings. This role requires a firm grasp of municipal laws, previous supervisory experience, and excellent communication skills to educate the public on bylaw requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct Bylaw Officers in day-to-day operations
• Research and recommend improvements to bylaw services
• Represent the city in court and prepare prosecution information
• Oversee compliance with City bylaws and regulations
• Compile and prepare various activity reports
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years as Bylaw Officer II
• Bylaw Enforcement & Investigative Skills Certifications
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence
