Position Summary
To assist in the leadership of the Food areas and department processes through partnership with the Food Assistant Manager and ensure a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion.
What you’ll do
- Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
- Assists in providing direction and the co‑ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Food Assistant Manager and the Store Management Team.
- Assesses the overall presentation of Food Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executes merchandising display changes where required.
- Delegate, assist and follow up on completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks.
