Job Description
OSSTF is looking for a Correspondence Teacher to teach Canada & World Studies from home. Marking and feedback are key aspects of this flexible role.
Beginning September 1, 2026, this remote teaching position will last until June 17, 2027, focusing on students in the Alternative and Continuing Education program (P.A.C.E.). Candidates must have Ontario College of Teachers Accreditation and Intermediate/Senior qualifications in a related subject area. Virtual Learning Environment experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide marking and feedback for 20 Grade 10 lessons
• Assess and grade lessons for Grade 11 and 12
• Administer and grade mid-term and final exams
• Engage with students through remote learning platforms
• Track and report on student performance
Requirements:
• Ontario College of Teachers Accreditation mandatory
• Intermediate/Senior qualifications in subject area required
