MedStar Health and the MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute (MHVI) invite applications for a full-time Academic Cardiologist at the Medstar Georgetown University Hospital with a clinical focus on caring for patients in the kidney and liver transplant program.
This position is dedicated to providing cardiovascular expertise for the high-volume Solid Organ Transplant Program at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, which includes liver, kidney, pancreas, and other solid organ transplants. The program is one of the largest and most respected in the country, serving as a major referral center for complex cases.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care for solid organ (kidney, liver, etc.) transplant candidates and recipients, including pre-transplant evaluation, perioperative management, and long-term post-transplant follow-up.
