This full-time role is central to Nunavut's electoral integrity. The Chief Electoral Officer is an Independent Officer of the Legislative Assembly responsible for conducting general elections, by-elections, and municipal council elections. Successful candidates will interpret and communicate complex electoral statutes while preparing annual reports to the Legislative Assembly.
