PROGRAM
The Finance Department is responsible for funding, which comes from own sourced-revenue, ISC, First Nations Health Authority and Taxation. The Finance Department closely with all departments within our organization as well as with government agencies, funding sources and our community members. The Finance Department will include expertise in financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting service plan development, performance measures, financial policy and procedures management, financial systems support, debt management, payroll, and revenue and accounts receivable and payable.
Purpose of the Position
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the financial management of Penelakut Tribe (PT) including budget analysis and management, financial modeling and reporting, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, accounting operations, mergers and acquisitions and investment strategies.
