Job Description

Serve the Mobert community as an Emergency After Hours Worker, providing critical child welfare services. Respond to urgent child protection needs in line with established standards and protocols.
In this position, you will report directly to the Child Welfare Manager while addressing after-hour child protection issues. Your key responsibilities involve receiving reports, investigating cases of abuse or neglect, and ensuring compliance with the relevant acts and protocols. Availability and flexibility for on-call service are essential to effectively meet community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage intake of abuse/neglect reports
• Investigate cases in a timely and respectful manner
• Work within regulatory frameworks and protocols
• Document findings and interventions accurately
• To collaborate with the Child Welfare Manager for effective service
