Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine
University Hospital Monklands (UHM) is looking for an experienced clinical fellow to join its existing team of anaesthetists and the wider multi‑disciplinary team.
Overview
The Anaesthetics Department is part of the Surgical & Critical Care Directorate and provides services within a 7 theatre main operating suite, a stand‑alone 2 theatre day unit, a 10‑bed Level II/III ICU and 6 Level I surgical beds. The department normally admits approximately 600 ICU patients per year and over 200 surgical patients.
Responsibilities
Provide general anaesthesia in the main theatre and day surgery unit.
Deliver critical care, including out‑of‑hours work.
Balance between critical care and anaesthesia according to personal preference and service needs.
Dedicate time to develop a special interest.
Participate in a robust induction programme for UK‑trained graduates, including a two‑week softer‑landing period if...
