This externship is tailored for veterinary students in their clinical years, allowing for real-world experience in a small animal practice. Students will partner with a supervising veterinarian to gain expertise in patient histories, physical exams, and treatment planning. Additionally, externs will have the chance to observe and assist with surgical procedures and diagnostics while enhancing their communication skills.
