Job Description

CARETAKER CLASS I • REGULAR (38 HRS/WK) – SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOL Position available for the 2026‑2027 school year at REACH Berkley School, 737 rue Green, Saint‑Lambert, QC J4P 1V9. 
Start date to be confirmed. 
Expect a high standard of cleanliness comparable to a hospital setting. Specialized training in sanitization protocols is mandatory. The environment includes multiple bathrooms, hygiene rooms, and many students have medical needs such as feeding tubes. Strict adherence to cleanliness and infection control practices is essential for their safety. The facility includes isolation areas and occupational therapy rooms, all requiring meticulous cleaning. 
NATURE OF WORK The primary duty is performing and overseeing maintenance work and preventive upkeep in various educational establishments. The employee is responsible for a total area covering less than 9,275 m² and performs characteristic functions of a maintenance workman, class II.
