ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize Canada Inc. has immediate openings for experienced Concrete Pipe Labourers to join our Pipe operation in Winnipeg. Pipe Labourers are responsible for aiding in all areas of the plant, including collecting materials, setting up forms under supervision, basic concrete placing, housekeeping, and other tasks throughout the plant. A high level of safety practices must be used at all times.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Receive oral instructions to determine work assignments.
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Finish concrete products.
- Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment.
- Assist machine operators, crane operators and other workers.
