Job Description
Our client is looking for a Construction Estimator who knows their way around residential projects and wants to support our residential renovation projects from planning through execution.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare accurate, detailed estimates for residential renovation projects of varying size and complexity
- Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to fully understand project requirements
- Perform quantity takeoffs and build complete cost breakdowns (labour, materials, trades)
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Work closely with design, project management, and leadership to align scope, budgets, and expectations
- Identify gaps, risks, and cost pressures early — before they impact the project
- Contribute to project planning to ensure jobs are set up properly before they reach the field
