Job Description
SUMMARY
The Construction Health and Safety Manager supports the implementation, monitoring and improvement of the Health, Safety and Environment program, processes and activities in maintaining compliance, mitigating and managing health, safety, environmental and security‑related risks and improving our ‘Safety Always’ Culture.
Works closely with the BGIS Project Management team and Operations teams while providing governance and oversight of construction activities.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Health & Safety Construction Project Support
- Working within the National Capital Region (NCR) with most of the work at construction sites in Gatineau. Bilingual preferred.
- Conduct Project inspections to ensure compliance with regulation and BGIS internal processes/procedures.
