What is the role?
Carmacks, in partnership with Peters Bros, is looking to hire a Project Coordinator for Highway South & Recycling HIP. Reporting to the Construction Manager, Highways Division, the role contributes to the goals and profits of the company by supporting the Project Management team. The Project Coordinator will build roads primarily with paving works and recycling, working mainly with the field Superintendent and Project Manager. The position is based in Penticton, with 50% office and 50% on site, requiring frequent presence at the project during the production season.
Duties and responsibilities
- Track and reconcile materials supplied and delivered.
- Manage and track truck haul tickets and summarize using spreadsheets.
- Maintain daily and weekly inventory balances for pits, stockpiles, transfers, and job consumption.
