Job Description
Triple West Medical has been assigned by a South West England based NHS Trust to help recommend them an Consultant in General Medicine with an interest in Acute Medicine for a substantive or 12 month NHS Fixed Term position.
This post's main responsibilities will include overseeing the medical take, performing post-take (intra-take) ward rounds, making specialty referrals, caring for short-stay in patients for up to 48 hours on the EAU, facilitating timely discharge and follow up plans and where required following patients up as ambulatory care patients and will be potentially joining three full-time Consultant Acute Physicians and 2 part time Associate Specialists to create a team of five, working within the Emergency Admissions Unit, Emergency Department and AEC.
The post holder will also be asked to undertake roles such as the educational supervision of students, help with Clinical Audits & Governance & even Administration/Budgetary Responsibilities for the departm...
