POSITION: Contract External - 1.0 FSL, FSL QUALS, J/I

Qualifications

• Self‑identify with one of the four equity‑deserving groups designated under the federal Employment Equity Act or with an equity‑deserving group on one or more protected grounds under the provincial Ontario Human Rights Code.
• Have 5 or more years of permanent contract teaching experience with another board, confirmed through your resume and application.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for effective instruction, training, and evaluation of pupils in the subjects assigned to the teacher.
• Carry out supervisory duties and the instructional program assigned by the principal.
• Cooperate fully with other teachers and the principal in all matters related to instruction.
• Be present in the classroom or teaching area at least fifteen minutes before the commencement of morning classes, and five minutes before afternoon classes.
