Job Description

 Summary 
 
 You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) of NAVFAC ROICC BAHRAIN. 
 
 The current workweek is Sunday through Thursday. Employees hired from continental U.S. will receive Sunday Premium Pay (computed at 25% of basic hourly rate, eight hours per week).

 You will perform pre-award and post award functions for procurement contracts for facilities services or construction contracts.
 You will ensure funding, waivers, certification, approvals and compliances have been obtained for purchase requests.
 You will prepare memoranda's for negotiations and business clearance.
 You will analyze cost and pricing data elements to determine price reasonableness for major acquisitions.
