Credit Controller
Join our Finance Team as a Credit Controller and take ownership of debt management across the Hastings District Council. This is a key role suited to an experienced credit professional who can confidently manage collections, build strong customer relationships and influence positive payment outcomes across a diverse portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing reports on the status of credit and collection activities
- Strong relationship building and regular engagement with customers to arrange payment or to negotiate payment arrangements.
- Monitoring and reporting on credit and collection performance, providing insights to relevant Council Committees and Managers.
- Contributing to the development and improvement of credit management policies, systems and procedures.
- Applying consistent, effective credit risk management practices across a varied portfolio
