This work involves the responsibility for the performance of routine cleaning duties in public and municipal buildings and facilities. Performs a variety of building maintenance and cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors, waxing and buffing floors, vacuuming rugs, dusting furniture, washing walls and windows, and cleaning elevators and stairwells.
Typical Work Activities:
+ Performs specialized cleaning tasks varying with the district's needs.
+ Replenishes toilet supplies such as tissue and soap.
+ Empties wastebasket and collects and disposes of trash.
