Position Summary
Students will engage in the entire game development process over the course of the semester to create a game by themselves that is critical or educational in nature. Students will create a milestone timeline, develop concepts and paper prototypes, play‑test the designs of other students and integrate feedback, and then scope and develop a complete game using rapid iteration.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree diploma (required academic degree)
- Game Design (area of specialization)
- Two or more years of experience designing analog games that were released
- Professional writing experience
- Experience instructing or mentoring students or learners in the design of games
- Experience with games that convey ideas, beliefs, or values to the player (e.g., social, political, or applied issues)
