Department of Indigenous Learning — Lakehead University, Thunder Bay Campus, invites applications for one tenure-track faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor in the Department of Indigenous Learning to commence January 1, (there is flexibility to the start date).

Responsibilities

The Department is interested in well-rounded candidates who balance research with a commitment to teaching and service. The appointee will contribute to undergraduate programs and engage in scholarly activity in Indigenous Studies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with Indigenous communities in the northern regions of Turtle Island and organizations outside of academe;
