3-Month Contract Role with a Local Authority Summary This role provides high-quality financial support and business partnering to Children, Young People & Families services. The position is crucial for delivering robust financial management, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis and reporting. Responsibilities Support the Finance Business Partner in delivering effective financial management across CYP services. Lead on statutory returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance, including DfE returns such as Section 251. Provide expert advice on Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) funding and ensure compliance with schools funding regulations. Support the planning, monitoring, and management of revenue and capital budgets, particularly within schools and education services.
