Education
Last Semester of Engineering, Textiles, Industrial Design, etc. (or other suitable technical degree preferred).
None to 1 year job related experience (Preferable)
Technical Skills
Seat Patterning - Able to complete seat patterns
Understanding and applying one or more basic problem-solving techniques (eg. BEP, Kepner-Tregoe, Six-Sigma, etc.) to help solve a real-world issue.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Process and requirements of a Trimcover
Understand and basic operating of seat equipment used in trim cover manufacturing (NC Cutter, Sewing Machines etc.)
Trim Cover Sewing
Safety Requirements within a trim cover
Standard components used within a trim cover.
Knowledge of Material specifications and guidelines (Cloth, Leather, Vynil, etc)
Understanding of 2 D component and product drawings.
Change management and BOM control
Proficiency in Trim cover development from a 2 D or 3 D information source (ie drawings or CAD).
