Design Specialist – Electronics (III)
Location: Waterloo, Canada
Responsible for designing schematic and layout with a system-level perspective and making camera design contributions both individually and as a team.
What You Will Do
- Design electrical circuits for machine vision camera test boards and camera boards.
- Design PCB stack‑up and layout plans.
- Collaborate with the PCB Layout team to implement circuits on PCB.
- Adhere to Teledyne DALSA design standards for schematic entry and component selection.
- Optimize board design for cost, manufacturability, and testability.
- Write design review documentation and conduct design review meetings.
- Run electrical circuit simulations.
- Debug and bring up new board designs.
- Troubleshoot existing board designs in labs and on the production floor.
- Optimize machine vision imaging performance at the system level.
