Our client, a Energy Services company, is looking for a Direct Buyer for their Austin, TX location. Responsibilities:
+ Requires in-depth knowledge and experience. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
+ Works independently, receives minimal guidance.
+ Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
+ The expense buyer plays a pivotal role on the frontline of NPI supply chain operations responsible for expeditious prototype procurement.
+ Buyer primary objective is to provide tactical procurement support to R&D engineering teams to complete proof of concept of new design validation accelerating time to market.
