Interpret and apply the rules of professional conduct and ethics standards for professional accountants, including independence and conflicts of interest requirements. Deliver expertise in:
The Canadian CPA Rules of Professional Conduct, Codes of Professional Conduct, and Code of Ethics. The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Ethics & Independence Rules. The Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) Auditor Independence Rules.
Provide advice on and support team members with the adoption and implementation of practical solutions to ethical and professional conduct matters. Promote the importance of ethics to partners and other MNP team members across the Firm. Play an integral role in driving Firm quality initiatives.
