Job Description

The Director of Marketing will manage SCMC’s public presence and growth engine, driving competitor recruitment, brand credibility, and engagement across the year. This includes content strategy, announcements, recruitment campaigns, and ensuring all media looks and sounds professional and attractive.

Time Commitment 10 hours/week

Term of Employment June 2026 – March 2027

Main Responsibilities

Build and execute annual marketing strategy: recruitment funnel, content calendar, and campaign timelines

Drive competitor sign-ups across universities and clubs (organic + partner amplification)

Manage brand consistency across socials, web, and event collateral

Lead creative production (design, video, copy) through a small team or collaborators

Track performance (sign-ups, engagement, conversion) and iterate campaigns

Coordinate major announcements (case launch, deadlines, finalists, sponsors, conference recap)
